Festival Basics

When is the festival?

Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, 2026.

Where is the festival located?

Arcata Ballpark "Crabs Stadium", 888 F St, Arcata, CA 95521

What are the festival hours?

Gates open at 11:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM both days.

What ages are allowed?

Cannifest is an all-ages event. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
 

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available online and at the gate during festival hours.

Will there be single day tickets available?

Yes. Single day tickets will tickets be available at the gate during festival hours with limited pre-sale options available online as we get closer to the event weekend.

Entry & Allowed Items

 

Can I bring a bag, ice chest, or cooler?

Yes. All bags, ice chests, and coolers will be searched upon entry.

Can I bring chairs and Blankets?

Yes, chairs and blankets are allowed, however directly in front of stage will be an energy zone where chairs and ground blankets will NOT be allowed. Unattended chairs, blankets, and "campsites" may be removed by staff for the safety and enjoyment of everyone. 

Can I bring water?

Yes, but containers must not be glass.

Prohibited Items

 

What items are prohibited?

​

• Weapons of any kind

• Drones

• Alcohol not purchased at event

• Glass containers

• Professional cameras or audio equipment without prior media registration

• Fireworks or explosives

• Animals (except licensed service animals)

• Laser pointers

• Unauthorized sales of any items (violators will be asked to leave immediately) 

• Any other items deemed unsafe or inappropriate by event or venue management

Cannabis & Alcohol

 

Can I bring cannabis?

Yes, personal-use cannabis is allowed in compliance with California law. Cannabis sales are prohibited except through a licensed dispensary, just like every festival in CA.

Can I purchase cannabis at the event?

There WILL NOT be regulated sales of cannabis at the event. There WILL be a Cannifest shuttle available traveling to local dispensaries and back throughout the event. There are also numerous legal dispensaries within walking distance of the event.  

Will alcohol be sold at the event?

Yes, alcohol will be available for purchase for guests 21+ with valid ID.

Accommodations & Camping

 

Is camping available on-site?

No. Arcata Ballpark must be cleared after the final performance each night. Please see our accommodations page for hotel deals and local lodging options.
